Vonage: "No Workaround"

| | Comments (0)
In a filing submitted to US Federal court on Friday, Vonage revealed that it doesn't have a plan for getting around Verizon's technology patents. Vonage is now trying to get a permanent stay of the previous court order. "Vonage currently has no workarounds that moot the need for a stay," the company said.

It appears that without a permanent stay Vonage may go out of business. Should that occur, I certainly hope that it will be done in an orderly fashion allowing Vonage's current 2.2 million subscribers to locate viable service alternatives and have them activated.
