Effective
May 3, 2006 the FCC has given US based VoIP Service Providers 90 days
to submit interim reports to ensure that they will be CALEA compliant
by May 14, 2006.

The
FCC has also stated that the Service Providers can use trusted 3rd
parties to provide the required functionality which I’m sure is
welcomed news from companies such as SS8.
