For more than 25 years, Rick has been providing professional consulting services to Canadian Enterprises, Public Sector Organizations and Service Providers.
Since founding RIC Services in 1998, Rick and his team of associates have been providing business and technical consulting services across a wide range of Information and Communications Technology areas including: IT Infrastructure, Data Networks, Unified Communications and Collaboration, Contact Centres, Telephony and Wireless.
Rick has a high-honours diploma in Electronic Engineering and in 1996 obtained Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) status, the industry's most respected network certification. Additional certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Rick is the President of RIC Services, and is a member of the Canadian Telecommunications Consultant Association (CTCA).
Rick McCharles has the Government of Canada's security clearance at level Secret.
